For 2 years your wishes have come to life here on Wishcasting. You've shared your dreams, your pictures and your loving support. I have been blessed by each and every wish that has found its home here and by all the love so many of you have sent my way. Thank you.

Now I'm trying a new approach. I'm bringing many of my projects into one home: Jamie Ridler Studios. There will be a place for you to enter a direct link to the blog post of your wish. I hope that by posting your wishes on your blog, you will receive the support of your community and also develop deeper ties to fellow Wishcasters by inviting them to your home on the web.

I wish to heal my relationship with my inner child. I wish to see with the eyes of a child again. I wish to greet each moment with that feeling of wonder, amazement, joy, and excitement for even the simplest of everyday things. I wish to trust like a child again that life is safe, and that everything is all right. And, most of all, I wish to love like a child again, with my whole heart and my whole being, the thought of being hurt by it never even entering my mind.

My wish for this week is for my sister Vicki. She has been ill for so long with a mysterious illness. The doctors are baffled, and yet she continues to feel worse. Nothing has helped, and no diagnosis/treatment has been found. Her spirits are good, but her body is so weak.

One of my fur babies has been diagnosed with cancer. Pirate my male cat is about 14 years old (that’s what the vet thinks). I’ve had him for about 6 years and we think he was dumped and had been badly treated. He’s very timid of anyone new and hides because he’s scared, however with us (my husband and I) he’s loving and very comfortable. He follows me around like a lost puppy and can be found either in his basket under my desk or on my lap when watching TV.

My wish for him is that he’s not in pain or suffering and that he lives his last days (however long that may be) happy and knowing that he’s loved.

My biggest wish is to be able to make all the things happen that areplanned after we win the big jackpot in the Powerball.

My smaller wishes: that we get 10000 soon so we can get caught up on the house and not loose the car, the house, buy food and keep everything active. That my husband would love me the way he did when we first were married, that my husband would slow down on the drinking, that my middle son would get good grades and thrive, that my older son would be happy (he is 18 this June married to a not so nice person has a 17 month old daughter and supposedly one on the way-she wont tell him anything other than if he leaves her she will put this one up for adoption.) that my youngest would grow up to be amazing and not have his dads temper, that we have another child (preferably two girls and a boy all at once), and that the child I gave up for adoption is happy and some day gets to meet his brothers.

wild rivers and abandoned
barns streams to wade in and
bonfires on the beach
salad from the garden and
naps in a hammock coolers
full of Coke and ladybugs
on my hands treetops that
whistle and trains that
roll slowly through town
old film cameras and vintage
ball gowns black and
white movies and upright
pianos fields full of sunflowers
and wicker picnic baskets
tomato soup in a mug
and grilled cheese sandwiches
tea with some honey and
unlimited crayons starry nights
that amaze and cuddly puppies
that heal Gerber daisies
by the handful and books
that take me far away
long steamy showers and
feet in bare grass sleeping
in a tent with my poetry
muse nearby little children
laughing and kites in
the sky ...

I wish to discover:

The wilds of Nova Scotia, where the animals live and the stories run deep into the soil. I wish to discover Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton, Newfoundland and all Maritime little towns with their legends and ghosts. I wish to discover the magick of the east coast, bond with her tempestuous nature and find a home in her anarchy, at least for a while.
