Wednesday Wish Prompt: February 28

Large or small, one or many,
what treats do you wish for?

Wishes don't have to be big and weighty to be heartfelt.
Sometimes they can be light and joyful and yummy.
What would bring a little pleasure into your life?
What treats do you wish for?

Suzie's Wish for the World

I wish people would start seeing the world as a sacred place and stop treating her like a garbage dump. That we become her caretakers and see that she is a sacred living spirit and our Great Mother.

Suzie

Ldymuse's Wish for the World

I wish the world could look at each other individually, see our beautiful uniqueness and take that uniqueness as celebration rather than differences that cause problems. I wish global acceptance was possible at the worldwide level and the individual level. I wish we could love each other for being the wonderful human beings we are...

Libra Moon's Wish for the World

Libra Moon wishes the World to "Give Peace A Chance"

John Lennon says it best...

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky

Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too

Imagine all the people
Living Life in peace

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world could be as one

Imagine all possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
Or brotherhood of man

Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world could live as One

Pretty Lady's Wish for the World

Pretty Lady

Michelle's Heart's Desire

I wish that I could get out from under all my credit card debt...a debt that keeps me locked in shame, humiliation, and embarrassment... a debt that challenges my beliefs about money, myself, and what I deserve... a debt that keeps me small and sometimes makes me doubt my self worth.

I wish that I could pay it all off so that I can live in the fullness and abundance I deserve...

And so it is...

Thank you...

Michelle

Mary Ann's Heart's Desire

There are 2 that keep tugging at my heart

The first one is that i wish for my husband & me to one day return to our beloved place in maine. when we lived there, we lived rather simply, but we lived large. & were spoiled by being constantly around natural beauty, the salt air, trees, mountains & the ocean. we terribly miss our lifestyle there.

the second wish, well, this one is extremely personal, but i'll put it out there (because i can use all the wishes i can get!): to be among the ranks of women before me & experience motherhood firsthand, to be blessed with a healthy baby & to also accept graciously whatever is meant to be for my husband & me. there, it's out!

Mary Ann

LdyMuse's Wish

I wish that I knew my heart well and that I could be a better guide to people and not so tied up in my own emotions so as to help them. I wish further that my art or thoughts or words somehow could be used to be the vessels of light that I hope for them to be. I wish that everyone could shine like the lighthouse beacon they are.

Wednesday Wish Prompt: February 14

What does your heart desire?

Welcome

Wishcasting ~ What is It?

Wishes released into the world weave magic. When additional wishers contribute their attention and support, the energy of a wish is increased. Participate in wishcasting by submitting your wishes and supporting the wishes of others.

Where It All Began

Wishcasting had its earliest seeds in a wish/dream/prayer journal that I made last year and posted about it on Starshyne Productions. I wanted a place where I could safely express my wishes and by writing them down start the process of manifestation. It's amazing how powerful it is to simply write down your wishes. A while ago I found a list of dreams I had written years before. I was astonished to see just how many had come true even without my conscious effort! Many people share the same experience.

In January, I hosted Try Day at Create a Connection and suggested that people share their wishes on their blogs And and then go to each other's wishes and respond by commenting "As _____ wishes for herself, so I wish for her also." The response was amazing. There was such a powerful and joyful energy involved that I knew I had to find some way to support its growth and continuation, some way to encourage people to keep wishing and keep supporting other wishers. And so, Wishcasting is born today.

How Wishcasting Works

Share wishes:

  • Set your wishes free by sending them to wishcasting @ gmail (dot) com (without the spaces and with a real dot) for posting.
  • Include your name (or how you would like to be addressed) and your blog address, if you have one and would like it to be included/linked.
  • Your wish can be a sentence, a picture, a poem, a piece of artwork, a list, a collage or all of the above! It can take whatever form you like. It just has to be yours.
  • A wish can be posted anonymously, just indicate that as your preference when you submit your wish.
  • If you want to participate but don’t want to reveal details, you can simply give a coded name to your wish (like Jamie's Uberwish #27), and it will be posted as such.
  • Each participant's wishes will be posted separately so that they can receive their own supporting comments.

Support wishes:

Be a maker of magic and a tender of wishes. It’s easy.

  • In the comment section, support a wish by saying “As (insert name ) wishes for her/himself, so I wish for her/him also.”
  • You can add to your commentary, but I encourage you to begin with this precise phrase. There is something very special in this simple support. It carries the weight of trusting and believing in the wisher as well as the wish.

Wednesday Wish Prompts:

Every Wednesday there will be a wish prompt to inspire you, but can always wish for whatever you like, whenever you like.

Note: The heart of Wishcasting is community, encouragement and magic. Wishes that invoke negativity on others will not be posted. If you like, the wishstress will support you in looking for the positive desire underneath.
