Welcome

Wishcasting ~ What is It?

Wishes released into the world weave magic. When additional wishers contribute their attention and support, the energy of a wish is increased. Participate in wishcasting by submitting your wishes and supporting the wishes of others.

Where It All Began

Wishcasting had its earliest seeds in a wish/dream/prayer journal that I made last year and posted about it on Starshyne Productions. I wanted a place where I could safely express my wishes and by writing them down start the process of manifestation. It's amazing how powerful it is to simply write down your wishes. A while ago I found a list of dreams I had written years before. I was astonished to see just how many had come true even without my conscious effort! Many people share the same experience.

In January, I hosted Try Day at Create a Connection and suggested that people share their wishes on their blogs And and then go to each other's wishes and respond by commenting "As _____ wishes for herself, so I wish for her also." The response was amazing. There was such a powerful and joyful energy involved that I knew I had to find some way to support its growth and continuation, some way to encourage people to keep wishing and keep supporting other wishers. And so, Wishcasting is born today.

How Wishcasting Works

Share wishes:

  • Set your wishes free by sending them to wishcasting @ gmail (dot) com (without the spaces and with a real dot) for posting.
  • Include your name (or how you would like to be addressed) and your blog address, if you have one and would like it to be included/linked.
  • Your wish can be a sentence, a picture, a poem, a piece of artwork, a list, a collage or all of the above! It can take whatever form you like. It just has to be yours.
  • A wish can be posted anonymously, just indicate that as your preference when you submit your wish.
  • If you want to participate but don’t want to reveal details, you can simply give a coded name to your wish (like Jamie's Uberwish #27), and it will be posted as such.
  • Each participant's wishes will be posted separately so that they can receive their own supporting comments.

Support wishes:

Be a maker of magic and a tender of wishes. It’s easy.

  • In the comment section, support a wish by saying “As (insert name ) wishes for her/himself, so I wish for her/him also.”
  • You can add to your commentary, but I encourage you to begin with this precise phrase. There is something very special in this simple support. It carries the weight of trusting and believing in the wisher as well as the wish.

Wednesday Wish Prompts:

Every Wednesday there will be a wish prompt to inspire you, but can always wish for whatever you like, whenever you like.

Note: The heart of Wishcasting is community, encouragement and magic. Wishes that invoke negativity on others will not be posted. If you like, the wishstress will support you in looking for the positive desire underneath.

Such a beautiful idea, Jamie! Thank You! :) I didn't come up with a wish for Try Day, but now I know I have time to think, I will be back!

Bless you, may all your wishes come true...
